Acorn Records
Acorn Records was located at 7771 Cheviot Road in Cincinnati and was owned by Joe Grieshop, a long-time songwriter, publisher, and artist manager. The first issue on Acorn was by country singer Jimmie Williams, managed by Joe, who was able to get him a contract with major label MGM. Joe then concentrated on the Acorn Sisters and his next seven releases were by them. He also released an EP by Red and Lige, the Turner Brothers; two singles by Arnie Lunsford; one by Glen Canyon, and one by Joe himself, as Joe St. Clair, before the label wound down in the late 1960s.
