BENTLE, BOBBY JR.

Coming from a musical family in Dearborn County, Indiana, Bobby Bentle played fiddle with the contemporary Cincinnati bluegrass band Coal Train in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Known for his clean bowing and tasteful noting style on the fiddle, he also played lead guitar. He was inducted into the Southeastern Indiana Musician’s Hall of Fame in 2002 for his expertise on both instruments.
