The band’s name is based on a Bible term that means “blessing.” Based in Franklin, they do quite a bit of gospel music but they also perform secular music. Their sound is built around three-part female harmony which comes from Cathy Baker on guitar and vocals, Michelle Edester on mandolin and vocals, and Leisa Hinkle on vocals. Also doing occasional vocals are Becky Meyers who plays banjo, Mike Elliott on dobro and lead guitar, and Larry Collins on bass. Organized in 2005, they have built a following in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, and West Virginia, but have appeared as far away as North Carolina and Missouri. The band has recorded two CDs: Mountain Memories Revisited and One Cross, and are working on a third CD which is being produced by Don Rigsby.
