Bluegrass Flyers

A Cincinnati band active in the 1970s, the Bluegrass Flyers played at Aunt Maudie’s, among other places. The band included Roy Conner, who played mandolin and sang lead; Dennis Hensley, who played banjo and mandolin and sang baritone; Don Mason, who played guitar and sang tenor; and Ron Cole who sang bass and played bass. They recorded an LP on Artist’s Recording in 1975 with Junior Bennett joining them for the album on fiddle. In the late 1990s, they did two songs on the Aunt Maudie’s reunion CD.
