Central Recording Studio

The studio was located at 1226 Central Avenue in Middletown and was operated by Delbert Barker and Steve Lake. In addition to their own Central Record label they did other custom recording, mostly country, bluegrass, and gospel. The second floor of the building was the home of the Miami Valley Opry, home for several years of Chubby Howard’s steel guitar show.
