Coal Train

This Cincinnati band was organized by tenor and lead singer and mandolin and guitar player Terry Johnson, after he left Mike Lilly’s Country Grass. Other members were Bobby Bentle on fiddle, Bruce Carter on mandolin, Glen “Cookie” Inman on bass, Brian Aldridge on mandolin, and Tim Hensley on banjo. The band continued until Terry Johnson left to work with J.D. Crowe.
