COLLINS, DONNIE
Donnie Collins was born in Irvine, Kentucky, later coming to Dayton, where he became a professional musician in 1965. An excellent lead singer, he played guitar and worked in many country bands around the Dayton area as well as leading his own band. He was equally at home singing bluegrass, appearing with Wendy Miller, Wheat Straw, and briefly as the third voice and rhythm guitar player with the Osborne Brothers.
