GARRISON, RAYMOND MARSHALL “RAMBLIN’ RAY” (1944-2007)

Ray Garrison was born in New York, coming to the Dayton area in 1977. He became a volunteer deejay at WYSO in 1981, working on the Bluegrass Request Show and the Country Jamboree. In 1984, he started his own show, Country Classics, which eventually transitioned into Midnight Ramble and consisted of traditional country music. He was a WYSO deejay for over twenty-five years, working until he passed away.
