MORGAN, ROSCOE JR. (1965-)

Born in Mt. Vernon, Kentucky and raised in Cincinnati, Roscoe Morgan was apparently a mandolin prodigy who sat in with Earl Taylor at Aunt Maudie’s as a child. As an adult, he moved to Maryville, Tennessee, where he established a full-time music instruction and performance business, He also sang tenor and played rock ‘n’ roll guitar. He has worked with Clyde and Marie Denny, Pine Mountain Railroad, and Marty Raybon.
