MULLINS, DANIEL (1991-)

Daniel Mullins is the third-generation member of his family to be involved in the bluegrass music business. He is a graduate of Cedarville University with a degree in American Studies. As a teenager, he hosted a weekend show on WBZI called Bending the Strings which featured modern bluegrass and alt-country music. In 2016, he began hosting a new show weekdays called Daniel Mullins Midday Music Spectacular, playing bluegrass, Americana, and country music. He manages the radio station’s retail store, which specializes in bluegrass, country, and gospel music. He writes occasional columns for the online publication Bluegrass Today as well as contributing articles to Bluegrass Unlimited. He also does publicity for various bluegrass artists and runs the website for Joe Mullins and the Radio Ramblers.
