Ohio Valley Rounders
The Ohio Valley Rounders was a Cincinnati band formed in the early 1980s. Early members included Eddie Cunningham, John Schneider, and John Rossbach. In 1987 the band recorded Clear Liquor and Coal Black Nights on the Roust-A-Bout label. Members at that time were Eddie Cunningham, John Schneider, Charlie Rice, Jeff Campbell, Bruce Carter, and Dwayne Bowling. Another album, which appeared in 1994, was titled At It Again, on the band’s own label. Other members over the years included Michael Carr, Rich Hart, Ben Pedigo, Jon Weisberger, and Jeff Roberts. Around 1997 the band sort of morphed into the Comet Bluegrass All Stars, although both bands continued to make appearances and some of the members were interchangeable.
