SATTERLEE, DENNIS R.

Dennis Satterlee is the author of Teardrops In My Eyes published by Plucked String Foundation, Inc. in 2007. It is the music history of Red Allen. In his research for the book, Dennis interviewed many of the early bluegrass musicians from Dayton who provided him with information on the bluegrass scene in Dayton in the 1950s, thus preserving important parts of Dayton’s bluegrass history. He has also written articles for Bluegrass Unlimited, most recently a discussion of Red Allen’s participation on the BMC record by Glenn and Vivian Watson.
