TURNER, FLOYD E. “UNCLE FLOYD BLUEGRASS” (c.1929-)
A one-time mayor of Farmersville, Floyd was a luthier and ran an instrument repair shop in Farmersville, The String Clinic. He was a friend of Bill Lowe, who lived nearby, and was known as “Uncle Floyd Bluegrass” Turner. He did repair work for the young bluegrass musicians who were active in the Dayton area in the 1970s.
